Producing rich, deep bass, and crystal clear mid-high range, the Bass Clef active Bluetooth speaker will fill any room with a beautifully natural sound free of synthesised tonal enhancement. Unlike most other active speaker systems, the Bass Clef doesn't modify music in any way. Fuelled by solar power and powered by high-efficiency driver units, the sound it produces is natural and clear, the way it was supposed to be heard. Even low bit rate music can sound amazing through the Bass Clef. And it's all powered by nature. No mains power required.
Driven by solar energy, no cables required
Sited correctly, the Bass Clef can fully charge itself within a day from solar energy and provide enough power to last an entire evening*. Its unique wireless design means it can be sited without requiring building modifications for power cable runs.

Hand assembled in the UK by a small team of highly skilled craftsmen, these beautifully unique speakers with their signature bass clef inspired stand design reproduce digital music accurately, with a consistent richness across the audio spectrum.
*The Bass Clef can also be driven from an external power supply (supplied) if the power is low, if continued use is required or if solar energy is restricted. At near maximum sound output, the Bass Clef should have enough internal power to last several hours when fully charged.
The clearest and least distorted sound is produced from a single point source. Most speaker systems have several drivers producing sounds at different frequencies, scattering interfering wavelengths that create sound distortion. The Bass Clef uses a single sound source for its audio channels.
The Bass Clef suits rooms with lots of natural light. Whilst it’s not necessary to be in direct sunlight, the Bass Clef’s power unit will charge quicker the more sunlight there is available. We recommend it is positioned near a window or glass where it will receive strong daylight.
Contrary to popular belief, the wattage output quoted by speaker systems does not necessarily indicate how loud the sound will be. There are a lot of other factors that need to be considered too such as efficiency and frequency range. The Bass Clef can fill a large room with more than enough sound at moderate volume.
Most commercially produced active speaker units purposely distort sound to ‘tune’ it for the enclosure. This typically involves increasing bass frequencies which can make music sound boomy and hollow. The Bass Clef has no tuning circuitry, relying instead on the music your feed it, the room it’s in and your ears.
