The Bass Clef is a compact solar-powered speaker system designed to be positioned near a window or glass where it can absorb daylight. It can be placed on a window cill or item of furniture on its own or supported on its signature stand. The dense construction of the system, weighing just under 20Kg, gives the Bass Clef remarkable performance when reproducing bass frequencies.
The Bass Clef uses an internal power system that's charged by daylight. In a room where there is plenty of it, the Bass Clef should require no external power at all when used at moderate volumes a few hours a day. If the system should ever lose power, an external power supply & charger is supplied with each unit. Sound is transmitted to the Bass Clef through a Bluetooth interface from any device that's compatible.
Powering the Bass Clef is a highly efficient electronic system that minimises wasted energy. All the internal circuitry has been designed to maximise the systems internal power bank so that the speaker can be left on its own without any cables whatsoever.
Utilising specially designed acoustic drivers, the Bass Clef can produce a sound pressure level of 110dB at 1m. That's deafening in an average-sized room. The bass response is extraordinary from 35Hz upwards, re-creating thunderous rumbles without distortion.
The compact speaker system has a minimalist design that contributes to the clarity of sound and will complement any room, in any situation. The bright white gloss finish reflects light proudly as the design emphasises its presence wherever it is sited. The signature stand, designed around a Bass Clef music symbol, compliments and completes the speaker system as a stand-alone unit.
There are limited volumes of the Bass Clef available, with a set number in production. This makes the Bass Clef a very unique speaker unit that only those with an appreciation of top-class sound will possess.
The Bass Clef is assembled in the UK by a small team of skilled craftsmen who ensure consistent quality at every stage of the build. Every component that is used in the speaker system is inspected and tested before it is used. Our philosophy is to build products that exceed expectation.
